Welcome to Somers Park Avenue Methodist Church
We hope that you will be able to join us to worship God with us on a Sunday morning at 10.30am. We offer a warm welcome, with a regular Junior Church during the service and a toddlers play area in the church, and refreshments after each service. Please let our stewards know if you are coming to church for the first time, coming back to church after a break, or visiting the area and we will be happy to help.
We have a variety of different services with a monthly communion service and an ‘All Age Worship’ service when all the church family shares together.
The worship is led by our Minister or by Local Methodist Preachers and as Methodists we enjoy singing our faith.
There are many different activities on the premises and you are welcome to come along and join us. We have an annual Children’s Holiday Club in August, regular ‘Hands On’ craft activity mornings, women’s fellowship and a games evening and other special events like the Fun Sunday. We have a private nursery on our premises, Pied Piper Nursery, and hope to soon have a weekly parent & toddler group.
We are members of the South West Worcestershire Methodist Circuit and our Superintendent Minister is Rev Anne Smith, St Andrew’s Methodist Church Worcester. We also belong to Malvern Churches Together and support the work of Lyttleton Well, Great Malvern.
